Hello, I am looking for media, coaches, & die hard fans of girls basketball to be willing to become a voting member of the inaugural MN Buckets People's Poll this season. I have a wonderful spreadsheet that lists every team & every class for easy voting purposes. You can vote in all classes or just the ones you feel comfortable voting in and then vote in more as you get more comfortable with what is happening on the girls scene. If you miss a week of voting, no big deal, you can come back the next time.
I have to work on deciding how many times & what dates I want the poll to come out this year yet, but early indications are that I will want a pre-season one done for the Sunday night prior to the first practice which is 11/17. After that I think we'll have one done prior to Christmas and then shoot to have them ready weekly after that until the Section tourneys begin.
Sound like fun? I hope you will join me. Even if you are a little green or uncertain, understand it is for fun because we all know polls don't really mean that much. I just get a little tired personally of the recognized that are not always well thought out. We, the fans, know who is good and who is not and we know why because we're basketball fans. Consider joining this fun group! You are welcome to vote on the boys side as well if you wish.
